Contest Categories and Prizes:

Multiple Scarecrow Themed Displays:  These displays must include at least 4 scarecrows depicting an event or theme - like the golf tournament that was created by Gloria and Wayne Shearer. The winner in this  category will be awarded $200!

Traditional:  These displays must include at least 2 scarecrows that resemble ones that have been in fields and gardens for centuries. The
creator of the best traditional display will win $100!

Non-Traditional:  These displays must also include at least 2 scarecrows, but made from non-traditional materials such as tin, wire,
hub caps, cans, sticks, bricks, etc. The creator of the best non-traditional display will win $100!

The above categories will be judged by an impartial panel sometime during the event. In order to be judged, each category must have a minimum of 3 entries.

Viewers' Choice:  Again this year, residents and visitors to the area will  drive around and vote for their favourite scarecrow display.

If your display receives the most votes, you will win $100!
