Local residents and businesses are encouraged to create unique scarecrow displays for the festival, but not everyone can see their way to getting it done....so......

 If you would like to decorate your home or business with a scarecrow display, but lack the time or inclination to construct your own scarecrows, we can help.

If it's just a little assistance you require, you can attend the Scarecrow Workshop at the Buckhorn Community Centre on Wednesday, August 26th. It's great fun for the whole family. Visit the Special Events page for details. 

However, you now have another option as well. Volunteers at the Buckhorn Community Centre will build the scarecrows for you! You develop the idea for your display and provide the clothing.  We'll make the scarecrows and dress them as you have requested. You take them home and set up your display.  If desired, we will then include your home or business in the Scarecrow Rally  to draw viewers to your display and you will be able to compete in the Viewer's Choice Contest.
